Description: Cigarettes - 75 cents a pack & you could smoke wherever you want. That was 1981 & sums up what life was like in America when I did my first story on the Big Apple for Easyriders. Not that I smoke or did smoke, but it sort of sums up the changes we’ve been through in 30 years.
